Why I added it
A Slovak hemp flower was the first one I offered on my old website — and I am bringing it back to where it belongs: to the grower who makes it. Aleš of Asterion has grown Midwest since 2023 as one of the first in Slovakia and has never finished below 10 % CBD on the top flowers. I do not take flowers from an anonymous importer; I take them from a man whose field I have seen.
The flower is the most natural form of hemp. Everything I make — extract, tea, balm — starts here.
MIDWEST CBD. Dried hemp flowers of the Midwest variety, 11 to 15 % CBD, 10 grams. Hand-picked at the Asterion farm in Záhorie, Slovakia, dried and cured at a controlled temperature. A collector’s item of botanical value.

Grown in the sun, in living soil, without pesticides or synthetic fertilisers. Woody, tart aroma with elderflower-citrus notes and a trace of fuel. Certificate of analysis on request.
Who it is for — and who it is not
Collectors and connoisseurs of hemp who want to see and smell the whole plant, not an extract. Those who know the Midwest variety from seed and want to see its flower. Those who process their own raw material.
Not intended for direct consumption, smoking or vaporising. Not a food, food supplement or medicine. Sold as a collector’s item of botanical value and a raw material for further processing. Keep out of reach of children. Sold to persons over 18 only.
Origin and growing+
Asterion farm, Záhorie, Slovakia. Outdoor growing in the sun, in living soil with mycorrhiza, organic regime without pesticides or synthetic fertilisers. Small plots, hand harvest, every plant checked under a microscope before harvest, drying and curing at controlled temperature and humidity so that the terpenes — the volatile compounds that give the flower its scent — remain.
The Midwest variety+
Midwest is a Cannabis sativa L. variety listed in the EU Common Catalogue since 2022, with the blue label of certified seed. Genetics of US origin, developed for the European market by the breeder CBD Seed Europe. The breeder states 10 to 13 % CBD, 99.6 % female plants and a profile of over 150 terpenes; harvest in early to mid October. Asterion has grown it in Slovakia since 2023.
Composition and analysis+
100 % dried flowers of Cannabis sativa L., variety Midwest. CBD 11 to 15 % depending on the season, THC below 0.3 %. Certificate of analysis from an accredited laboratory on request.
Storage+
Dry and dark, in a closed container, at room temperature. Keep out of reach of children.
Questions and answers+
The flowers are dispatched directly by the grower in Záhorie, so allow up to 10 days. They are not kept in my stock — they go from the farm to you.
That you buy the plant as a plant — to admire its shape and scent, for further processing, as a gift. Not for consumption — I sell them as a collector’s item, just as the grower does.
