Why I made it
Drops work from the inside and across the whole. But the body has places that ask for attention locally — a strained muscle, a stiff neck, a joint after a long day, skin that needs quiet. Konopnička is my answer to the question “and what about exactly this spot?”. A thousand milligrams of cannabidiol in fifteen grams is a concentration at which it makes sense to speak of a balm as a tool rather than as cosmetics — a full-spectrum extract that you massage in exactly where you want it to work. And the massage itself is half the effect — hands know where it presses.

To anyone dealing with the body from outside: the musculoskeletal system, the skin, recovery, releasing particular places. It pairs well with the drops — the whole from inside, the place from outside.

How I use it+
A small amount, massaged into the skin at the spot, several times a day if need be. After sport on strained areas, in the evening on places that stiffened during the day, and on dry skin anywhere. I let it absorb — a balm from the EMERALD edition carries the natural green of the extract, which disappears as it soaks in.

What happens in the body+
The skin has an endocannabinoid system too — CB1 and CB2 receptors sit in skin cells, sebaceous glands and the nerve endings of the skin. Cannabinoids applied from outside work locally, right where they are placed — only a minimum passes through into the bloodstream. That is why a balm does not have the internal effects of drops, and why it is applied where it is meant to work.
