Why I blended it this way
With this bottle I speak as the maker — I blended it for women and it is honest to say so outright. From years of making and of conversations I know one thing: for many women, smaller amounts of cannabidiol are enough for their aims — and at small amounts the THC stays in tenths of a milligram, where in my experience it is not a problem, while doing exactly what it is there for: it loosens the ego, releases, brings ease — it lets her be herself. Not intoxication. Permission.
But no template holds for everyone. I know men sensitive to half a milligram of THC and women for whom single milligrams are right. What happens in the body+
THC acts on the CB1 receptor, seated mainly in nervous tissue. Cannabidiol acts on the same receptor indirectly — it changes its shape so that THC binds differently. That is why the ratio of the compounds decides the course more than their quantity. The joint action of the plant compounds is called the entourage effect — the whole behaves differently from the sum of its parts.
